OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
SETTING FORTH THE INTENT OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
TO ANNEX THE CERTAIN AREA TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described has, hereinafter for more
than three (3) years prior to the date of this date, been completely
contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Fort Collins to
annex said area to the City , as required by the terms of the
Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and Larimer County, Colorado,
dated August 3, 1983.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Fort Collins hereby sets
forth its intent to annex the following described property situate in the
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to wit:
HOFFMAN MILL ANNEXATION
A tract of land situated in the NW 1/4 of Section 18, Township 7
North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado.
Considering the North line of said Section 18 as bearing N 89*23'
00" E and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto,
beginning at a point on the Northerly right-of-way line of the
Colorado and Southern Railroad at a point which bears N 00°13'00"
E 1393.00' and again N 88'53'00" E 287.48' from the West 1/4
corner of said Section 18, thence N 88053'00" E 1034.82' , thence
S 01°07'00" E 162.15' , thence S 21°33'25" W 443.44' to a point on
the said right-of-way line, thence along said right-of-way line
along a 8544.40' radius curve to the right a distance of
1036.44' , the long chord of which bears N 57°38'00" W 1035.84' to
the point of beginning.
The above described tract of land contains 5.95 acres more or
less.
Section 2. That the notice attached hereto be adopted as a part of
this resolution. Said notice establishes the date, time and place when a
public hearing will be held regarding the passage of an annexation
ordinance pertaining to the above described properties. The City Clerk is
directed to publish a copy of this resolution and said notice as provided
in C.R.S. , 31-12-108(2) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 21st day of April , A.D. 1987.

NOTICE
TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the City of Fort Collins has
adopted a resolution of intent to annex the area known as the Hoffman Mill
Annexation more particularly described in said resolution, a copy of which
precedes this notice.
THAT for more than three (3) years more than two-thirds (2/3) of the
boundary of said territory has been contiguous with the boundary of the
City of Fort Collins.
THAT on June 2, 1987, at the hour of 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter
as the matter may come on for hearing before the City Council in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Fort Collins at 300
Laporte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, the City Council will hold a
hearing upon said resolution for the purpose of determining and finding
whether said territory proposed to be annexed meets the applicable
requirements of Colorado law and is eligible for annexation. At such
hearing, any person living within the area proposed to be annexed and any
landowner of lands therein, and any resident of the City of Fort Collins,
and all other interested persons may appear and present such evidence as
they may desire.
