OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
FINDING SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE AND
INITIATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
UNION PACIFIC SOUTH FOURTH ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, a written petition, together with four (4) prints of an
annexation map, was heretofore filed with the City Clerk requesting the
annexation of certain property to be known as the Union Pacific South
Fourth Annexation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to initiate annexation proceedings
in accordance with law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That the City Council hereby accepts the annexation
petition for the Union Pacific South Fourth Annexation, more particularly
described as situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to wit:
A tract of land situate in Sections 6, 7 and 18, Township 6
North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado,
which considering the North line of the Northeast Quarter of said
Section 6 as bearing S 89'42'27" E, and with all bearings
contained herein relative thereto is contained within the
boundary lines which begin at the Northeast Corner of said
Section 6 and run thence S 85°36'49" W 1114.64 feet to the True
Point of Beginning, being a point on the Easterly R.O.W. line of
Union Pacific Railroad; thence along the arc of a 3894.83 foot
radius curve to the right a distance of 316.80 feet, the long
chord of which bears S 11 ° 59 ' 06" W 316 . 71 feet ; thence
S 14030'38" W 919.98 feet; thence S 89059' 13" E 25.82 feet;
thence S 14°30'38" W 4077.32 feet to a point on the South line of
the Southeast Quarter of said Section 6; thence S 14°30'38" W
119.85 feet; thence along the arc of a 3719.85 foot radius curve
to the left a distance of 991 .75 feet, the long chord of which
bears S 06040'39" W 988.81 feet; thence S 00°45'54" E 1508.41
feet to a point on the South line of the Northeast Quarter of
said Section 7; thence N 89°48'22" E 50.00 feet along said South
line; thence S 00029'23" E 2654.33 feet to a point on the South
line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 7; thence
N 88055 ' 13" E 50 . 00 feet along said South line ; thence
S 00°29'23" E 1864.99 feet; thence along a spiral in with a
length of 186.45 feet and a delta of 2°27'00" , the long chord of
which bears S 01°12'29" E 186.44 feet; thence along the arc of a
2092.01 foot radius curve to the left a distance of 584.41 feet,
the long chord of which bears S 11°08' 17" E 582.52 feet to a
point on the North line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section
18; thence S 89°39'23" W 105.36 feet along said North line;
thence along the arc of a 2192.01 foot radius curve to the left a
distance of 620 . 16 feet , the long chord of which bears
S 26°21'31" E 618.10 feet; thence along a spiral out with a
length of 190.04 feet and a delta of 2°27'00", the long chord of
which bears S 36009'51" E 190.03 feet; thence S 37°06'32" E
2397.60 feet to the South line of the Southeast Quarter of said
Section 18; thence S 88°28'45" W 245.94 feet along said South
line, thence N 37906132" W 2253.80 feet; thence along a spiral in
with a length of 199.95 feet and a delta of 2°27'00", the long
chord of which bears N 36°09'01" W 199.94 feet; thence along the
arc of a 2392.01 foot radius curve to the right a distance of
568.78 feet, the long chord of which bears N 27°39'06" W 567.44
feet; thence N 00°29'23" W 163.45 feet along the West line of the
Southeast Quarter of said Section 18 to the Center Quarter Corner
of said Section 18; thence S 89°39'23" W 158. 10 feet along the
North line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 18; thence
along the arc of a 2492.01 foot radius curve to the right a
distance of 561 . 18 feet , the long chord of which bears
N 09035' 11" W 560.00 feet; thence along a spiral out with a
length of 203.55 feet and a delta of 2°27'00" , the long chord of
which bears N 01°16'01" W 203.54 feet; thence N 00°29'23" W
1862.23 feet to the South line of the Southwest Quarter of said
Section 7; thence N 88°55' 13" E 50.00 feet along said North line;
thence N 00°29'23" W 2658.97 feet to the South line of the
Northwest Quarter of said Section 7; thence N 89°48'22" E 199.41
feet along said South line to the Center Quarter Corner of said
Section 7; thence N 00`45'54" W 2605.31 feet to the North Quarter
Corner of said Section 7; thence N 89°35'31" E 3.29 feet along
said North line; thence N 14030'38" E 1359.68 feet; thence
N 89041'50" E 103.44 feet; thence N 14°30'38" E 3657.73 feet;
thence N 11016'31" E 309.09 feet; thence S 81021'06" E 78.90 feet
to the Point of Beginning.
Section 2. That the Notice attached hereto be adopted as a part of
this Resolution. Said Notice establishes the date, time and place when a
public hearing will be held regarding the passage of an annexation
ordinance pertaining to the above described property. The City Clerk is
directed to publish a copy of this Resolution and said Notice as provided
in the Municipal Annexation Act.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 5th day of April , A.D. 1988.

NOTICE
TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
has adopted a Resolution initiating annexation proceedings for the Union
Pacific South Fourth Annexation, said Annexation being more particularly
described in said Resolution, a copy of which precedes this Notice.
That, on May 17, 1988, at the hour of 6:30 p.m. , or as soon thereafter
as the matter may come on for hearing in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall , 300 Laporte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, the Fort Collins City
Council will hold a public hearing upon the annexation petition for the
purpose of finding and determining whether the property proposed to be
annexed meets the applicable requirements of Colorado law and is considered
eligible for annexation. At such hearing, any persons may appear and
present such evidence as they may desire.
