OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION AND GRATITUDE
POSTHUMOUSLY TO ANTOINE (TONY) N. BONTZ
FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COMMUNITY
AS A MEMBER OF THE BUILDING REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS, Antoine (Tony) N. Bontz was appointed as a member of the Building
Review Board on June 20, 1989; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bontz served on the Building Review Board until his death on
September 15, 1990; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bontz faithfully attended meetings of the Building Review Board
and actively participated in Building Review Board activities; and
WHEREAS, during Mr. Bontz's membership, the Building Review Board completed
review of new building codes, which were subsequently adopted by the City
Council ; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bontz was also active in the Northern Colorado Chapter of the
National Association of Home Builders, having served on the board of directors
and as secretary/treasurer until his death; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins, on behalf of the staff
of the City, fellow Building Review Board members, and the community, wishes to
formally express its appreciation and gratitude to Antoine (Tony) N. Bontz
posthumously for his contributions to the community and the City of Fort Collins,
and to express its profound and sincere sympathy to his mother, Shirley Hessler,
and to his entire family.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the City Council adopt this Resolution to provide an enduring record of the
contributions of Antoine (Tony) N. Bontz to the community and to the City of Fort
Collins as a member of the Building Review Board.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 6th day of November, A.D. 1990.
