OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING RESOLUTION 91-85 CONCERNING THE
1991-92 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 91-85, the Council of the City of Fort
Collins authorized the submission to the Department of Housing and Urban
Development of the 1991-92 Community Development Block Grant application; and
WHEREAS, said application included, as a part thereof, funding in the sum
of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) for the Putnam-Fullana PTO for the
purpose of acquisition of property to upgrade Putnam Park; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that title to the property to be acquired
should be taken by the Poudre R-1 School District rather than the Putnam-Fullana
PTO; and
WHEREAS, on November 25, 1991, the Putnam-Fullana PTO transferred all of
its right and interest in the grant of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00)
to the Poudre R-1 School District; and
WHEREAS, the Council , by this Resolution, desires to amend Resolution 91-85
to authorize the delivery of CDBG grant funds in the amount of Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) for the purpose of land acquisition for the upgrade
of Putnam Park to the Poudre R-1 School District in lieu of the Putnam-Fullana
PTO.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that Resolution 91-85 of the Council of the City of Fort Collins is hereby
amended to authorize the City Manager to, upon completion of all other conditions
imposed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, deliver CDBG grant
funds in the amount of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) to the Poudre
R-1 School District in lieu of the Putnam-Fullana PTO for the purpose of
acquisition of property to upgrade Putnam Park.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 3rd day of December, A.D. 1991.
