OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO AMEND AN EXISTING
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE TO INCREASE
THE WATER AND SEWER SERVICE FEES
FOR COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY
WHEREAS, water and sanitary sewer service has historically been furnished
to the State Board of Agriculture for the use and benefit of Colorado State
University under a 1974 agreement with the City (the "Agreement") , which
Agreement has, from time to time, been amended to reflect increased rates; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the reasonable charge to be
made to the State Board of Agriculture for water service is $1 . 11 per 1000
gallons and for sewer service if $1 .24 per 1000 gallons; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to the Agreement (the "Amendment") has been prepared
which provides for furnishing water and sanitary sewer service to Colorado State
University at the rates described above.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1 . That the terms and conditions of the Amendment are hereby
accepted and approved by the Council .
Section 2. That the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to execute said
Amendment for and on behalf of the City of Fort Collins.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 19th day of May, A.D. , 1992.
