OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH
COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR CONTINUATION
OF THE SLUDGE STUDY ON MEADOW SPRINGS RANCH
WHEREAS, on August 20, 1991, the City Council authorized in Resolution 91-
113 an intergovernmental agreement between the City of Fort Collins ("the City")
and Colorado State University ("CSU") for the purpose of a three-year sludge
research study at the Meadow Springs Ranch; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with
CSU to continue the sludge research study for an additional period of time until
March 31, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Article- 11, Section 16, of the City_ Charter authorizes- the-
Council , by ordinance or resolution, to enter into contracts with other
governmental bodies to furnish governmental services or enter into cooperative
or joint activities With- other- governmental- bodies; and-
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the City should enter into said
agreement with CSU.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into an intergovernmental
agreement with CSU for the purposes of continuing the sludge disposal research
study on the Meadow Springs Ranch until March 31 , 1995.
