RELATING TO THE MAKING OF PLYING WITCHES
Be it ordained by the rlty roun5tl of the City of Fort Collins.
Seo 1 It shall be unlawful for any Railroad Company or corpor-
ation, or any nbrson or persons in the employ of said Company or cor-
poration, or any engineer, fireman, conductor, brakeman, switchman or
other person exercising the immediate management and control of any
oars or locomotives upon any railroad within the limits of the City of
Fort Collins, to make what is commonly known as a flying or running
switch across any of the streets of said City
Sec ? It shall be unlawful for any Railroad Company or corpor-
ation, or persons owning or operating any railroad within the limits
of the City of Fort Collins, or their employees and agents, or the
engineer, fireman, oonduotor, brakeman, switchman or other person en-
gaged in, or assisting in the operating or moving of any locomotive,
oar or train of oars, or any portion thereof, within the limits of the
City of Fort Collins, in switching any oar or oars, to out off from the
engine, or any part of said train while in motion, any oar or oars so
that the engine and cars atgaohed thereto could pass a switch in time
for the approaching oars so out off to be switched off xx tat a 91U
umiak in such a manner that said cars so out off would cross any street
in the City of Port Collins while not attached to the locomotive, or
oars connected therewith
Seo 3 Any Railroad Company or corporation, or their employees,
agents, or any engineer, fireman, conductor, brakeman or switchman
assisting in the violation of either of the provisions of this ordinance,
shall unor the conviction thereof, be fined in a sum not less than $10
nor more than $100 and the costs of suit In the event of said fine
and costs not being immediately paid, the party so convicted shall be
imprisoned in the City or County jail for one day for each $2 of said
fine and costs
