ING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIOIt 1 OF ORDINANCE 110. 16, 1919,
RELATING TO THE SCHEDULE OF RATES TO M CHARGED AND COLLECTED BY
THE MOUNTAIN STATES TELEPHOLIE & TELEGRAPH COMPANY, WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, PURSUANT TO THE
AUTHORITY CONTAINED IN SECTIOIi 4 OF ARTICLE XVIII OF THE CITY
CHARTER, RESPECTING THE MATTER OF RATES, RENTALS AND CHARGES
FOR SERVICE TO E MADE BY PUBLIC UTILITY CORPORATIONS WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF SAID CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 16,
1919, be amended so as to read as follows, towit :
"Section 1. It shall be lawful for The '.fountain
States Telephone & Telegraph Company to charge and collect for
telephone service within the corporate limits of the City of
Fort Collins, in accordance with the following schedule of rates:
One party business . . . . .Q60.00 per year.
Two party business . . . . . 4S. 00 per year.
One party residence. . . . . 3O.00 per year.
Two party residence. . . . . 27. 00 per year.
Four party residence . . . . 24. 00 per year.
3usiness extensions. . . . . 12.00 per year.
Residence extensions . . . . o". co per year.
Extension bells . . . . . . 3. 00 per year.
Directory service:
Non-subscriber business 18.00 per year.
Extra listings business 4.20 per year .
Extra listings residence 4.20 per year. "
Section 2. It shall be lawful for the said The
Uountain States Telephone & Telegraph CoL:pany to enforce its
general tariff rules and regulations at the time of taking effect
of this ordinance, which shall control said Company in its ad-
ministration of the telephone service within the corporate limits
of 'the City of Fort Collins until otherwise ordered and changed
by the City Council; which said general tariff rules and regula-
tions include the schedule of rates enumerated in Section 1 here-
of , as well as other rates now in force an:i effect in the City of
Fort Collins, a copy of which general tariff rules and regulations
shall be placed on file with the City Clerk upon the taking effect
of this ordinance.
Section 3. Any violation of the provisions of this
ordinance by said Company s1:all subject it to a fine upon oonvic-
tion in any sum not to exceed Three Hundred Dollars (4300. 00) , and
the costs of the proceedings.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the fore-
going ordinance , consisting of four (4) sections, was duly
proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the fnd day of April, A .D. 1921, and was
duly ordered by aye and nay vote to b: published once in full
in the Fort Collins Courier , a daily newspaper of the City
of Fort Collins , in accordance with the provisions of Sec-
tion 7 of Article IV of the City Charter; that thereafter
and on, towit : the .7. 3y'day of Zfrt ' A.D. 1921, at
a regular meeting of the City Council,, the said ordinance
came before said Council upon its final passage, a period of
more than ten days having elapsed since its publication as
above set forth, and t 1. t said Ordinance was upon second read-
ing adopted as an ordinance, and thereafter and on, towit :

No. /— as finally passed and adopted was duly published
in the Fort Collins Courier , a daily mwspaper published in
the City of Fort Collins, Colorado.
