BEING AN EMERGEITCY ORDINANCL RELATING TO THE SALARIES OF THE
OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF TIE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, AND REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 Thac the salaries and compensations of the
offticeis and employees, other than the COmmLSsiOnOVS of the City
of Fort Collins, as herein nesignated by title of office and
employment, ale hereby firmed within minimum and maximum limits
as set forth in Section 2 of this Ordinance, which sale salaries
and compensation shall be paid for calendar months and payable
monthly in accordance witn the regulations of the City Council
respecting the auditing and payment of bills And where change
of name or title of office and employment is made in said Section
2 hereof, the same is hereby declared to be intended to be
amendatory of any ordirance or ordinances giving names or titles
to said offices op employment
Section 2 That such salaries and compensation shall
be as follows

Section 3 That the salary and compensation to be paid
any of said officers and employees may be fi /,Pd by resolution of the
City Counci ! within the limits set forth in Section 2 of this
Ordinance, upon recommendation of the Commissioner in whose Depart-
ment sLcb officer or employee may be employed, provided, that any
salaries ano compensation of said officers and employees fixed and
being paid at the time of the passage of this Ordinance, shall
remain the same until changed by resolution of the City Council
rereuiider, or bIT Ordinance
Section 4 Ordinance No 3, 1920, and amendments thereto,
ana Ordinance No 19, 1920, and Ordinance No 1, 1921, and amendments
tinereto, and Ordinance No 6, 1921, and Ordinance No 15, 1921,
and Ordinance No 8, 1922, and Ordinance No 20, 1922, and
Ordinance No 31, 1923, and Ordinance No 5, 1924, and Ordinance
No 10, 1924, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with tnis ordinance are hereby repealed
Section 5 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency

and tars ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication

Introduced, read at lengtn and adopted by the unanimous
vote of all the members of the CitJ Council at a regular adjourned

of all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance
wi-tr the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter, and thereafter, on to-wit the day of December,
