d1I-IEREAS, Since the adoption of the annual appfopriation
ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1928, an
emergency and unforeseen contingency has arisen, whereby it has
become and is necessary to construct a bridge together with the
necessary approaches , and the graveling of road-way and making
fills and cuts and supplying- additional lights for the City Park;
and also for e construction of a tool hot.se and toilet ,
all in the City Park of the City of Fort Collins , and the public
necessity requires an additional appropriation of public funds
therefor; therefore
BE IT ORDAII-MD BY THE CITY COMMI, OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS;
Section 1. That there be and hereby is appropriated
out of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the
years ending 1929 , 1930, 1931 and 1932, unless tal_en up prior
thereto , the sum of three thousand four hundred (03,400.00 )
dollars to be used for the constr-action of a bridge together .pith
the necessary approaches and the graveling of road—way and making
fills and cuts and suplolyin.- additional lights for the City Park;
and also for the construction of a tool house and toilet ,
all in the Cit;, Park of the City of Fort Collins , Colorado , which
said sum, when this ordinance tales effect , shall be credited on the

the sum of sixteen hundred (�1600.00) dollars thereof to the Camp Ground
Addition Fund , and eighteen hundred (,;)1800.00) thereof to the City Park

and registered five (5a) per cent warrants of the said City shall
be issued to cover said amount .
Section 2. In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health , peace and safety,
and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication,
under and by virtue of t'r.e authority contained in Sectiorn o and
7 of Article IV of the City Charter .
Introduced , read at lenth and adopted by the unanimous
vote of all members of the City Council at a regular meeting held
this ;X! day of March A. D. 1928 .
