Section. 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 18, 1924, being an
emergency ordinance relating to the amendment of Section 18 0£ Ordinance No. 10,
1919, relating to the use of water from the City water works and regulating the
use ther-of, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
"Section 18. Hose used for the sprinkling of lawns or gardens will
be permitted during the following hours only:
"From five o'clock A. M. until eight o'clock A.M. and from five
o'clock P. M. until eight o'clock P. M. Residents on the even numbered side
of the street will have the excl:-sive --se of the water on the even numbered
days of the month, during the above hours. Residente on the odd numbered side
of the suet will have the exclusive use of the water on the odd numbered
days of the month, during the above hours, except on the first day of the
month following a month of thirty-cns days, in ve.,ich case those residing upon
the even numbered side of the street will have the exclusive use of the water
from five o'clock A. M. until eight o'clock A. M., and those residing upon the
odd numbered side of the street will have the exclusive use of the water from
five o'clock P. M. until eight o'clock P. M. The sprinkler or nozzle attached
to said hose shall not exceed 3116 of one inch in diameter and water shall not
be used through hose or pipes without a nozzle or sprinkler attached thereto
and this regulation shall ap,-1y to all users of vrater whether flat or metered
service."
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with
this ordinance are her*17 repealed.

Section 3. In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists
for the preservation of the public health, pa^ce and safety, and this
ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication, under and by
virtue of the aathbrity.• contained in Sections 6 and 7 of $rticle IV of the
City Charter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unani-,ous vote of all the
members of tha City Council this 4th day of April, A. D. 1925.

sections was duly proposed and read at length atoms, regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 4th day of April, A. D. 1925, and was duly adopted and
ordered published in The Fort Collins Express-Cmwier, a daily newspaper and the
official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all the
members of the City Council, as an e^erg,ncy ordinance, in accordance with the
provisi_:z of Sections and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and thereafter
and on to-wit: the day of April, A. D. 19252 said Ordinance No. 9
was duly published i the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily nswspapar
published in the City cf Fort Collins, Colorado.
