WHEREAS, The Hone Lumber '.Tanufacturin;; Co=.-
pany, a corporation, on the Sth day of Hay, 1920, duly peti-
tioned the City Council to vacate all that portion of Elm
Street north of Block 275, West Side Ad-: ition to the City
of Fort Collins, east of iTorth Loomis Street and south an-
avast of the Colorado & Sout;aern Railway right of :gay, w;'_.:ich
said petition was by the City Council duly referred to the
Commissioner of 7orks and the City Attorney; and t;:areafter
the Cc::..:issioner of Works and the City Attorney reported
favorably or. said petition, provided the petitioner mould
secure a favorable e%Tression from the property o-. nars alo
lm Street and the vicinity thereof, favorin said vacatic:,
end further providing that notice be published in both local
papers and a date set for receiving objections; and

and the vicinity thereof, and has caused to be published in
both local papers a notice as provided in said rarort , fix-

Section 1. That all that portion of Elm Street
lying north of 31ock 275, 1 est Side Addition to the City of

Fort Collins, east of ?orth LooLds Street and south and most of
the Colorado u Southern Railway right of way, be and the a=zrie
is hereby vacated.
Section 2. In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of t'r.-- public health,
i
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage a :d publication, un: er and by virtue of the autho-
rity contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter.
Introduced , read at length and adopted by the
unani ,ous vote of all the i e,;,bers of the City Council this
20th day of `"ay, A.D. 1920.
