Public notice is hereby given that the following ordinance was

Relating to Water Rents
Ae it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Fort Collins: -
Section 1. The city clerk shall collect all water rents and
grant all water licen$es and water permits.
Section 2. The owner or o ners of any building or premises con-
nected with the city water mains shall be held liable for the payment
of all water rents properly chargeable against said building or premi-
ses.
Section 3.Whenever Any such building or premises shall be va-
cated, it shall be the duty of the o�rner or owners, agents or agents
thereof, to notify the city clerk of such fact, so that the water may�V
shut off; and all such buildings and premises shall be deemed occupied,
and water rents collected thereon, unless such notice shall have been
given; provided, that whenever such notice of vacancy is given before
the expiration of the term for which the water rent has been paid, it
shall be the duty of the city clerk, upon demand of the owner or agent
of such premises vacated , to repay to him or them the amount propor-
tionate to which such lieen6e has to run; provided further that in no
case shall such rebate be paid for a period of time less than ten days.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
her-awith are hereby repealed.

day of `MaAA.A— 1904,1 and was duly passed and adopted b7 the said City
Council at the regular meeting thereof held on the day of
1904.
