BEING"THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION CRDI ATE,° AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE
RELATING TO THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JANUARY 1st , 1928 AND ENDING DECEM13ER 319t , 19280 AND FIXING THE
MILL LEVIES FOR SAID FISCAL 'YEAR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and is hereby appropriated out of
the revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the fiscal year beginning
January 1, 1928 and ending December 31, 19280 the sum of Three Hundred
twenty-nine thousand sixty-seven and 98/100 ($3299067 98) Dollars, to
be raised by taxation and otherwise, which said sum is hereby divided
and appropriated for the following purposes, to-wit

Section 2 That for the purpose of providing necessary Hinds for
meeting the appropriations set forth in Section i of this ordinanae, the
following levies be and are herely made upon each dollar of the assessed
value tion of all taxable property withim the corporate limits cE' the City
of Fort Collins, the same being the amount necessary, together with
estimated misoellaneous receipts. to provide for the payment of the
foregoing appropriations and to meet the payment during the fiscal year
aading December 31st, 1928, of all properly sutkorized demands upon the
City Treasurer , t o-wit

General Expense 12 36 mills
being a total of 15 00 mills, which levies shall be certified to the County
Assessor, and to the Board of County Comaissicners of I,arimer County,

Colorado, by the Commissioner of Safety and Ex-Offioio Mayor and
the City Clerk, as provided by law.
Section 3, In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
sexists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety,
and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and
publ ieati on, under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at, length and adopted by the unanimous
vote of all members of the City Couna.il at a regular meeting hold

hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordirance consisting of
three (3) sections, was duly proposed and read at length at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 29th dap of October, A D
1927, and was duly adopd and ordered published in the Fort Collins
Express-Courier, a dai3#mwspaper and the official newspaper of the
City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the
Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions
of Sections 6 and 7of Article IQ of the City Charter, and thereafter,
on to-wit the .Z day of 1927, said Ordinance
