A LITE 0dE HUNDRED FEET NORTH OV THE SOUTH SIDE OF SAID STREET
BETWM THE MST LITE OF AASON STREET AND THE REST SIDE OF WASEIYGTON
AVEAVE
Whereas, The City Council of the City of Fort Collins did on the
16th day of ifarch, 1903, adopt the following resolution
"Resolved that all of that portion of Laporte Avenae ly ng North
of a line One Hundred (100) feet North of the South side of said street
bet veen the west line of Mason Street and the West side of Washington
Avenue be vacated,"
which resolution was thereafter duly certified to the 'County Clerk and
Recorder of Larimer County and recorded in Book �/7"/ , Page 88
wherein and whereby the owners of lots abutting on the north side of

said Lapor+s Avenue between the west line of 'la.son Street and the west
i
side of Washington Averris have assumed and acted upon said resolution
Of the City Coarnil as vesting in said owners the portion of s-iid street
attempted to be vacated by said resolution, and
Whereas,, for the puraose of quieting title to said por`fon of
the street so attempted to be vacated, and es+ablisning the rights cc
property owners owning lots abutting on said Laporte Avenue between the
west line of Mason Street and tr_e west side of Washington Street the
City Council hereby determines that the same should be of ectuated by an
ordinance duly pas ed and adouted as required by law therefore
BE IT ORD ITIED BY DiE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOPT COLLINS
Section 1 That all of that portion of Laporte Avenue lying
North of a line one hundred (100) feet north of the south side of said
street betveen the west line of Mason Street and the West side of
Nashington Avenue be and the same is hereby vacated, said vacation to
be effective as of date March 16, 1903

regular meeting of the City Council held on the firs4 day of iarhh,
A D 1924, and was duly ordered by aye and nay vote to be published once
in full in tho Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily ne-ispaner of the City
of Fort Collins, in accordance with the Provisions of Sectio s 7 5 Article
IV of the Citj Charter that thereafter and on, to-wit the �S day of
larch, A D 1924, at a regular nesting of the City Council the said
ordinance came before said Council uponita final passage, a period of
more than ten days having elapsed since its publication as above set
forth and that said o^dinance yr o u on second rea_c]ang adonted as an
