ORDINANCE NO 4 1,19391
BEING AN EMGENCY ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF BOND TO BE
FURNISHED BY THE CITY CLERK AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That the City Clerk shall give bond in the
sum of Seventy Five Hundred ($7500 00) Dollars, conditioned that
he shall well and faithfully perform all of the duties of his
office and shall account for and turn over all money, property
and booVs of the City coming to his hands in lieu of the amount
of bond fixed by the City Charter
Section 2 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections
6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular
meeting, held this 7th day of April A D 1939

Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing
Ordinance consisting of three (3) Sections, was duly proposed
and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council ,
held on the 7th day of April , A D 1939, and was duly adopted
and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a
daily newspaper of general circulation published in the City
of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the
City Council as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Char-
ter, and thereafter, and on to-wit the llth day of April , A D
1939, said Ordinance No 4 was duly published in the Fort Col-
lins Express-Courier a daily newspaper published in the City
of Fort Collins, Colorado
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my

Thereupon the following proceedings among others
were nad and talen to-wit
Commissioner Douglass introduced an Ordinance entitled
" An Ordinance providing for the issuance by the
City of Fort Collins , Colorado, of its negotiable
coupon bonds in the aggregate amount of Six Hun-
dred Forty-Six Tnousand Dollars ($646 ,000) to be
denominated Electric Light and Povier 22� and 2
3/4f Revenue Refunding Bonds Series 1939, for
the purpose of refunding a like amount of out-
standing oonded indebtedness of said city, orovi-
ding for the call of the outstanding 3% and 34%
Electric Light and Power Revenue Refunding Bonds
Series 1936 prescrioing the form of said Refund-
ing Electric Light and Power Revenue Bonds, pro-
viding for the payment of ooth principal and in-
terest on said bonds solely out of revenue to be
derived from the operation of said Municipal Elec-
tric Light and Pover System and repealing all or-
dinances resolutions or parts thereof in conflict
herewith and declaring an emergency "
