BEING »ThE ANNUAL APPPOPRIATION ORDINANCE,rr AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE
RELATING TO THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JANUARY 1ST, 1935, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31ST 1935, AND FIXING THE
MILL LEVIES FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and is hereby appropriated
out of the revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the fiscal year
beginning January 1, 1935, and ending December 31, 1935, the sum of
Two Hundred Forty Five Thousand Four Hundred Fifty and 46/100
($245 450 46) Dollars to be raised by taxation and otherwise,
which said sum is hereby divided and appropriated for the following
purposes, to-wit

Section 2. That for the purpose of providing
necessary funds for meeting the appropriations set forth in Section
l of this Ordinance, the following levies be and are hereby made
upon each aollar of the assessea valuation of all taxable property
within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins, the same
oezng the amount necessary, together with estimated miscellaneous
receipts, to provide for the payment of the foregoing appropriations
and to meet the payment during the fiscal year ending December 31,
1935 of all properly- authorized demands upon the City Treasurer, to-wit
Local Improvement Districts------------ 2 03 mills
Bonds & Interest Refunaing Bonus of 1929 T2 mills
Conduit Bonds Sinking Fund-- ------- T6 mills-
General Expense- - - - -- -- -- 11 49 mills
being a total of 15 mills, which levies snall be certifiea to the
bounty Assessor and Lo the Boara of County Commissioners of Larimer
County, Colorado, by the Commissioner of Safety and Ex-Officio Mayor
and the City Clerk, as provided by law
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace
and safety, and tnis ordinance shall take effect upon its passage
and publication, under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introauced, read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular
adjourned meeting neld this 31st day of December, A.. D 1934

length at a regular adjourned meeting of the City Council held on
the 31st day of December, A D 1934, and was duly adopted and
ordered publishea in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily-
and the official newspaper
newspaper/of the City of Fort 6ollins, by the unanimous vote of
all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance
with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter- and thereafter, and on to-wit the loth day of January ,
1935, saia Ordinance No 17 1934 was duly published in the Fort
Collins Express-Courier a daily newspaper published in the City
of Fort Collins, Colorado
