BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 3, 19339
AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 49 1942, RELATING TO THE LICENS-
ING AND REGULATING THE MANUFACTURE AND SALE OF NON-INTOXICAT-
ING BEER WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS,
COLORADO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 4, 19429
amending Section 7 of Ordinance No. 3, 19339 as amended, be
ana the same is hereby amended to read as follows, to-wit
"Non-intoxicating malt liquor shall not be sold,
delivered, given away, or consumed on the premises of
any licensee between the hours of midnight and 6 A M.
of any day, or on Sunday or on the lst day of January,
commonly called New Year's Day, or on the 30th day of
May, commonly called Decoration Day, or on the 4th day
of July, commonly called Independence Day, or on the ,
day of any General Election or Special Election or Muni-
cipal Election, or on the llth day of November, commonly
called Armistice Day, or on Thanksgiving Day, or on the
25th day of December, commonly called Christmas Day, or
on the day hereafter declared a legal holiday in
observance of the termination of World War II "
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sec-
tions 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unani-
mous vote of all members of the City Council, at a regular meet-
ing of the City Council, held this 4th day of May, A. D 1945,

I, MILES F HOUSE, City Clerk of the City of
Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the afore-
said Ordinance, consisting of two Sections , was duly proposed
and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council,
held on the 4th day of May, A D. 1945, and was duly adopted
and ordered published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan, a
daily newspaper and official newspaper of the City of Fort
Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the City
Council, as an Emergency Ordinance, in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article I4 of the City
Charter, and thereafter and on to-Nit the 8th day of
May , A D. 1945, said Ordinance No. 3 was duly pub-
lished in the Fort Collins Coloradoan, a daily newspaper
published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed the seal of said City, this 8th day of May ,
