ORDINANCE NO 2 , 19432
BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 10, 19299
AS AMENDED, BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND
RESTRICT THE LOCATIONS OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, AND THE
USE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, AND TO DIVIDE THE CITY INTO
CERTAIN DISTRICTS, COMMONLY KNOIN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND
MAKING SITZMAN'S ADDITION A PART OF THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP
AND "B" RESIDENCE DISTRICT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
That Ordinance No 10 of the Series of 1929 as
amended, being an emergency ordinance to regulate and restrict
the locations of buildings and structures and the use of build-
ings and other structures, the area and dimensions of open
space in building lots, the density of population, and for
said purpose to divide the City into districts, and the zoning
map adopted in connection therewith, be and the same is hereby
amended as follows
Section 1 That Sitzman' s Addition to the City of
Fort Collins and all the territory embraced therein heretofore
annexed to and made a part of the City of Fort Collins be and
the same is hereby put into and made a part of "B" residence
district
Section 2. That the City Engineer shall forthwith
amend the zoning district map to show the amendment herein
made
Section 3 All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed
Section 4 In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this Ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage and publication under and by virtue of the authority
contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all the members of the City Council at a
regular meeting held this llth day of June, A D 1943

I, MILES F HOUSE, City Clerk of the City of
Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the fore-
going Ordinance, consisting of four sections , was duly
Proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the
City Council, held on the llth day of June, A. D 1943, and
was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins
Express-Courier, a daily newspaper and the official news-
paper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of
all members of the City Council as an emergency ordinance,
in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of
Article IV of the City Charter, and thereafter and on, to-wit
the 15th day of June, A D 1943, said Ordinance No 2
was duly published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a
daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colo-
rado
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed the seal of said City, this 15th day of Jume,
