BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 17, 19369
AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO 129 1937, and ORDINANCE NO 13,
1937, REGULA^lING THE USE OF AND TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS,
ALLEYS AND SIDEWALKS IN THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, PROVIDING A
PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR THE REGU-
LATION OF TRAFFIC AT STREET INTERSECTIONS AND THE REGULATION OF
PARKING OF ALL KINDS OF VEHICLES WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 12, 1937,
amending Ordinance No 17, 1936, by adding thereto Section 10-a,
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows
"Section 10-a No vehicle shall be permitted to
remain parked at the curb or in the center of the street
in the same space for more than two hours uetween the
hours of 8 00 A M and 6 00 P M on Monday to Friday,
inclusive, and between the hours of 8 00 A M and 9 00
P M on Saturday of each week in any of the following
blocks, to-wit
South College Avenue , 100 and 200 blocks
North College Avenue, 100 block
West Mountain Avenue, 100 block
East Mountain Avenue, 100 block
No vehicle shall be permitted to remain parked at
the curb in the same space for more than two hours be-
tween the hours of 8 00 A M and 6 00 P M. on Monday
to Friday, inclusive, and between the hours of 8 00 A M
and 9 00 P M on Saturday of each Week in any of the
following blocks, to-wit

Linden Street, 100 block
West Oak Street, 100 block
East Oak Street, 100 block
LaPorte Avenue, 100 block
East side of South Mason Street, 100 block
North side of East Mountain Avenue, 200 block,
from Linden Street to intersection of Linden
Street and Remington Street
No vehicle shall De permitted to remain parked at
the curb in the same space for more than fifteen minutes
in front of the Post Office Building on South College
Avenue, in the space between Oak Street and the driveway
south of said building
No vehicle shall be permitted to remain parked in
the same space for more than the limited time designated
thereat, at the curb , in any space in the City of Fort
Collins marked white by the Commissioner of Works and
designating the length of time vehicles may be parked
in said space "
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed, save and
except that all causes of action accrued in favor of the City
of Fort Collins by reason of the violation of said ordinances,
or any section of Ordinance No 17, 1936, as amended, prior
to the taking effect of this repeal, shall be prosecuted as
though no repeal had been made.
Section 3. In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,

peace and safety, and this Ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unan-
imous vote of all members of the City Council, at a regular
meeting held this 6th day of June, A. D 1941

Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the aforesaid
Ordinance, consisting of three ( 3 ) sections, was duly pro-
posed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 6th day of June, A D 1941, and was duly
adopted and ordered published in the Larimer County Coloradoan,
a weekly newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of
Fort Collins , by the unanimous vote of all members of the City
Council , as an Emergency Ordinance , in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter, and thereafter and on, to-wit the 12th day of
June, A D. 1941, said Ordinance No 3 was duly publish-
ed in the Larimer County Coloradoan, a weekly newspaper pub-
lished in the City of Fort Collins , Colorado.
