AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO, 192 1922; SIM AMMMING SECTION
21 OF ORDINANCE NO, 11, SERIES OF 1917, MATING TO FOOD AND CREATING
THE OFFICE OF FOOD INSPEOTOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS*
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 19, 1922 emending
Section 21 of Ordinance No. ll, Series of 1917, relating to food and
creating the office of Food Inspector, be and the same is hereby amended
so as to read as follows:
"Section 21. No meat shall be brought into the City of Fort
Collins for sale except the same shall have been slaughtered in an
approved abattoir Provided, however, that farmers who have raised "
animals and slaughtered them on the farm, may bring the carcasses thereof
into the City for sale by having the same inspected and stamped by the
Food Inspector, or his deputies, under the following rules, towit:
(a) All carcasses must have the head and all viscera, except
the stomach, bladder and intestines, held together by natural attachments.
(b) All such carcasses shall be brought to the office of the
Food Inspector upon the grounds of the State Agricultural College for
inspection. "

one (1) section, was duly proposed and read at length at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 5th day of Angast,, A. D.
1922, and was duly ordered by aye and nay vote to be published once
in full in the Fort Collins Courier, a daily newspaper of the City of
Fort Collins, in accordance with the provisions of ASecti-n 7 of
Article IV of the City Charter, that thereafter and on towits the
� of A. D. 1922, at a regular meeting
of the City Council the said ordinance came before said council upon
its final passage, a period of more than ten days having elapsed
since its publication as above set forth, and that said ordinance
was upon second reading adopted as an ordinance, and thereafter and
on towit, the day of , 1922, said
ordinance No. �.,� as finally passed and adopted was duly published
in the Fort Collins Couriers a daily newspaper published in said City
of Fort Collins, Colorado.
