PRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1st, 1924,
AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1924, AND FIXING THE MILL LEVIES

Section 1 That there be and is hereby appropriated
out of the revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the fiscal
year beginning January 1, 1924, and ending December 31st, 1924,

t the sum of Two Hundred Thirty Seven Thousand Three Hundred
Fifty Two and 87/100 Dollars, ($237,352 87) , to be raised by
taxation and otherwise, which said sum is hereby divided and
appropriated for the following purposes, to-wit

The balance, if any, of revenue from water rentals
shall be placed in the Water Bond Sinking Fund
Section 2 That for the purpose of providing the
necessary funds for meeting the appropriations set forth
in Section 1 of this ordinance, the following levies be and
are hereby made upon each dollar of the assessed valuation
of all taxable property within the corporate limits of the
City of Fort Collins, the same being the amount necessary to

provide for the payment of the foregoing appropriations and
to meet the payment thereof during the fiscal year ending
December 31st, 1924, of all properly authorized demands upon
the City Treasurer, towit

For Mun R W Bonds Sink Fund 57 mills,
For Mun R W Interest - �4 - - 57 mills,
For Park Bonds and Interest 26 mills,
For Improvement Districts - 1 28 mills,
being a total of 12 92 mills, which levies shall be certified
to the Board of County Commissioners of Larimer County, by
the Commissioner of Safetj- and Ex Officio Mayor and the City
Clerk, as provided by law
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage and publication under and by virtue of the authority
contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Artiarle IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the un-
animous vote of all the members of the City Council this
8th day of December, A D 1923

Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the fore-
going ordinance, consisting of three (3) sections, was
duly propesed and read at length at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the Sth day of December, A 1)
1923, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the
Fort Collins Extiress-Courier, a daily newspaper and the
official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the
unanimous vote of all members of the Council, as an emer-
gency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of
Sections 6 and 7 of Artiarle IV of the City Charter, and
thereafter, and on towit the day of December, A D
1923, said Ordinance No J�4 was duly' published in the
Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper published
in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
