BEING °THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE,,, AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE
RELATING TO THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JANUARY 1, 1950, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1950, AND FIXING THE MILL
LEVIES FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and is hereby appropriated out of
the revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the fiscal year beginning
January 1, 1950, and ending December 31, 1950, the sum of Four Hundred
Twelve Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-Four and Twenty-Seven Hundreaths
($412,884 27) Dollars to be raised by taxation and otherwise, which
said sum is hereby aivided and appropriated for the following purposes,

Section 2. That for the purpose of providing necessary
funds for meeting the appropriations set forth in Section 1 of this
Ordinance, the following levies be and are hereby made upon each
dollar of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the
corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins, the same being the amount
necessary, together with estimated miscellaneous receipts, to provide
for the payment of the foregoing appropriations and to meet the payment
during the fiscal year ending December 31, 1950, of all properly
authorized demands upon the City Treasurer, to-idt
Refunding Conduit Bonds Sinking Fund 694 mills
Refunding Bonds of 1949 Sinking Fund 364 mills
Local Improvement Districts City Share 150 mills
General Expense 13 792 mills
15 000 mills
being a total of 15 00 mills, which levies shall be certified to the
County Assessor and to the Board of County Commissioners of Larimer
County, Colorado, by the Commissioner of Safety ana ex-officio Mayor
and the City Clerk, as provided by law
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety,
and this Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage under and by
virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV
of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length, and adopted by the unanimous
vote of all members of the City Council at a regular meeting held this
23rd day of November, A D 1949

of three (3) sections, was duly proposed and read at length at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on the 23rd day of November,
A D 1949, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort
Collins Coloradoan, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of
the City of Fort Collins. by the unanimous vote of all members of
the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter,
and thereafter and on, to—Idt the 29th day of November, 1949, was
duly_published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan, a daily newspaper
Published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
