AS kMENDED, BEING AN EIiaRGE NCY ORDINANCE TO REGULaTE AIM RESTRICT
THE LOCATIONS OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, AND TO DIVIDE THE
CITY INTO CERTAIN DISTRICTS, COMMONLY KNOLN AS THE ZONING
ORDINANCE, AND CFANGING LOTS 4 to 11, INCLUSIVE, BLOCK 1, AND
LOTS 4 to 11, INCLUSIVE, BLOCK 2 , VAN SLYKE-SETZLER ADDITION,
BLOCK 1, LOTS 9 to 26, INCLUSIVE, BLOCK 2 , LOTS 9 to 26, INCLUSIVE,
BLOCK 3 , and LOTS 4 to 11, I1CLUSIVE, BLOCK 4, BABBITT ADDITION,
AND BLOCKS 1, 2 and 4, KENWOOD HEIGHTS ADDITION TO "B" RE3IDENCE
DISTRICT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
That Ordinance No 10 of the Series of 1929, as amended,
being an emergency ordinance to regulate and restrict the loca-
tions of buildings and structures and the use of ouildings and
structures and land, the height and size of buildings and other
structures, the area and dimensions of open space in building lots,
the density of population, and for said purpose to divide the City
into districts , and the zoning map adopted in connection there-
with, be and the same is hereby amended by adding to Section II,
entitled "Zoning District Regulations ," the following, to-grit
Section 1 The zoning district map heretofore adopted
and declared to be a Dart of this Ordinance snall be changed and
amended and is hereby changed and amended so that Lots 4 to 11,
inclusive, Block 1, and lots 4 to 11, inclusive,Block 2, Van
Slyke-Setzler Addition, Block 1, Lots 9 to 26, inclusive, Block
2 , Lots 9 to 26, inclusive, Block 3 , and Lots 4 to 11, inclusive,
Block 4, Babbitt Addition, and Blocks 1, 2 and 4, Kenwood
Heights Addition, in the City of Fort Collins shall be taken
from "A" residence district and put into and made a part of
"B" residence District
Section 2 That the City Engineer snall forthwith
amend the original zoning district map in compliance with the
amendments and changes herein established
Section 3 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed
Section 4 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage and publication under and by virtue of the authority
contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unani-
mous vote of all the members of the City Council at a regular
meeting held this 26th day of January, A D 1950.

I, MILES F HOUSE, City Clerk of the City of Fort
Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing
Ordinance, consisting of four sections, was duly proposed and
read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council, held
on the 26th day of January, A D 1950, and was duly adopted
and ordered published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan, a daily
newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins,
by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council as an
emergency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sec-
tions 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and thereafter
and on, to-wit the 3irt day of January, A D 1950, said
Ordinance No 1 was duly published in the Fort Collins
Coloradoan, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort
Collins, Colorado
IN TVTITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
