HomeMy WebLinkAbout002 - 02/14/1957 - FIXING THE BOUNDARIES OF ELECTION PRECINCTS IN THE CITY ORDINANCE NO Z 1957 BEING AN ORDINANCE FIXING TH�iNDARIES OF ELECTION PRECINCTS IN THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1 That the election precincts in the City of Fort Collins as heretofore fixed ana established be and the same are hereby vacated Section 2 That there are hereby created Sixteen (16) election precincts in the City of Fort Collins to be known ana to be desio-ataa as follow,, to-wit Precinct A-1 Precinct B-4 Precinct C-4 Precinct D-3 Precinct B-1 Precinct C-1 Precinct C-5 Precinct E-1 Precinct B-2 Precinct C-2 Precinct D-1 Precinct E-2 Precinct B-3 Precinct C-3 Precinct D-2 Precinct E-3 Section 3 That the boundaries of the election precincts as herein created in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, are hereby officially established as follows, to-wit Precinct A-1, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being East of College Avenue and North of Oak Street Precinct B-1, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being North of Mountain Avenue and West of College Avenue and East of Whitcomb Street Precinct B-2, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being North of Mountain Avenue and West of Whitcomb Street and East of Washington Avenue and Wood Street Precinct B-3, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being North of Mountain Avenue and West of Washington Pvenue and Wood Street and East of Shields Street Precinct B-4 Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being West of Shields Street and North of Mountain Avenue Also, that portion of the City of Fort Collins being West of Roosevelt Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue extended South and South of Mulberry Street Precinct C-1, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being South of Mountain Avenue and North of Olive Street and West of College Avenue and East of Washington Avenue Precinct C-2, Fort Collins Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being South of Olive Street and North of Mulberry Street and West of College 4venue and East of Washington Avenue Precinct C-3, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being South of Mulberry Street and North of Laurel Street ann West of College Avenue and East of Grant Street Precinct C-4, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of^Fort Collins being South of Mountain Avenue and North of Mulberry Street and West of Washington Avenue and East of Roosevelt Avenue and its extension South Precinct C-5, Fort Collins, Colorado All the remainder of the City of Fort Collins being West of College Avenue and South of Mulberry Street except that portion of the City of Fort Collins included in Precinct C�3 and that portion of the City of Fort Collins included in Precinct Fe-3 Precinct D-1, Fort Collins Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being South of Oak Street and North of Myrtle Street and East of College Avenue and West of Peterson Street Precinct D-2, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being South of Oak Street and East of Peterson Street ana North of Myrtle Street, also, that portion of the City of Fort Collins being North of Laurel Street and East of Smith Street Precinct D-3, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being South of Myrtle Street and North of Plum Street and East of College Avenue and West of Smith Street Precinct E-1, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being East of College Avenue and South of Plum Street and North of Elizabeth Street also, that portion of the City of Fort Collins being East of Smith Street and South of Laurel Street and North of Elizabeth Street Precinct E-2, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being South of Elizabeth Street and East of the following line Commencing at the corner of Elizabeth and Peterson Streets, thence South to the corner of Prospect and Peterson Streets, thence East to the corner of Prospect Street and Mountview Lane commonly known as Peterson Street, thence South to Parker Street Precinct ;-3, Fort Collins, Colorado That portion of the City of Fort Collins being 'East of College Avenue and South of Elizabeth Street and Uest of the ,Pest boundary line of Precinct E-2, also, that portion of the City of Fort Collins being East of the Colorado ana Southern Railroad track and West of College kvenue and South of the line of Pitkin Street ex- tended Nest Section 3 Ordinance No 75 1939, Ordinance No 1, 1940, aid -
