HomeMy WebLinkAbout026 - 09/12/1957 - RELATING TO PERSONS LOITERING IN ABOUT OR ON ANY PUBLIC PRIVATE OR PAROCHIAL SCHOOL COLLEGE OR SEMIN ORDINANCE NO 26 1957 BEING AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PERSONS LOITERING IN ABOUT OR ON ANY PUBLIC PRIVATE OR PAROCHIAL SCHOOL COLLEGE OR SEMINARY GROUNDS OR BUILDINGS OR IMMEDIATE VICINITY THEREOF WITHOUT HAVING SOME LAWFUL BUSINESS TO CONDUCT THEREIN OR THEREABOUT, DISTEMBING CLASSES ANNOYING DISTURBING OR MOL- ESTING STUDENTS OR EMPLOYEES CONDUCT OF A LEWD LASCIVIOUS OR WANTON MANNER OR INDUCING ENTIC- ING OR INVITING STUDENTS INTO PARKED OR MOVING VEHICLES FOR]MMORAL PURPOSES BE IT 0$DAZ AD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1 Loitering and other acts in or about schools unlaw- ful It shall be unlawful for any person to loiter idle wander stroll or play in about or on any public private or parochial school college or seminary grounds or buildings either on foot or in or on any vehicle without having some lawful business therein or thereabout or in connec tion with such school or the employeesthereof or for any person to (annoy disturb or otherwise prevent the orderly conduct of classes and activities of any such school or annoy assault disturb or molest any student or employee of any such school college or seminary while in any such school building or on any school grounds or conduct himself in a lewd wanton or lascivious manner in speech or behavior in or about any such school building or school grounds or park or move a vehicle in the immedi ate vicinity or on the grounds of any such school college or seminary for the purpose of annoying or molesting the students or employees thereof or in an effort to induce entice or invite students into such vehicles for immoral purposes Section 2 Penalty Every person found guilty of a violation of any provision of this ordinance may be punished by a fine of not more than Three Hundred ($300 00) Dollars or by imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days Introduced considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 22nd day of August, A D 1957 and to be presented for final passage on September 12, 1957 ATTEST Mayor City Clerk Passed and adopted on final reading this 12th day of September A D 1957 Mayor ATTEST City Clerk - 2 -
