ORDINANCE NO. 3� , 1970,
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS, COLORADO, 1958, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
AND CLASSIFYING FOR ZONING PURPOSES THE PROPERTY INCLUDED IN THE STRACHAN FIRST
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That the Zoning District Map adopted by Chapter 19'of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as amended, be and the same hereby
is changed and amended by including the property known as the Strachan First Annexation to
the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, in zoning districts as follows, to-wit: .
That portion of said Annexation described as follows:
A tract of land situate in the NE4 of Section 25, Township 7 North, Range 69
West of the 6th P. M. , which considering the North line of said Section 25
as bearing N. 89045' E. and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto
is contained within the boundary lines which begin at the N', corner of said
Section 25 and run thence S. 00°16'05" E. 430.00 feet; thence N. 89045' E.
1560.00 feet; thence S. 35°00150" E. 553.13 feet; thence S. 00114' E. 435.00
feet to a point on the South line of the N4 of said NE4; thence N. 89046, E.
775.35 feet along said South line to its.point of intersection with the East
line of said NE4; thence N. .00036' W. 585.97 feet along said East line; thence
S. 89024' W. 375.00 .feet; . thence N. 43°41!30" W. 410.37 feet; thence N. 00°15'
W. 438.00 feet to a point on the North line of said NE4; thence S. 89045' W.
1990.00 feet along said North line to. the point of beginning, containing 33.4295
acres, more or less;
in the R-P, Planned Residential District..
That portion of said Annexation described as follows :
A tract of land situate in the NE-4 of Section 25, Township 7 North, Range 69
West of the 6th P. M. , which considering the North line of said Section 25
as bearing N. 890451 E. and with all bearings contained herein relative
thereto is contained within the boundary lines which begin at a point which
bears S. 00016105" E. 430.00 feet from the N4 corner of said Section 25, and
run thence N. 89045' E. 1560.00 feet; . thence S. 35000'50" E. 553.13 feet;
thence S. 00°141 . E. 435.00 feet to a point on the South line of the Nz of
the NE-4 of Section 25; thence S. 89046' W. 1720.00 feet along said South line;
thence N. 00*16105" W. 170.00 feet; thence along th6 arc of a 596.09 foot
radius curve to the left a distance of 198.16 feet, . the long chord of which
curve bears N. 09047130" W. 197.25 feet; thence N. 19018155" W. 274.89 feet;
thence along the arc of a 596.08 foot radius curve to. the right a distance of
198.16 feet, the long chord of which curve bears N. 09047130" W. 197.25 feet;
thence N. 00116105" W. 70.00 feet to the point of beginning, containing 34.8720
acres, more or less;
in the R-L, Low Density Residential District.
That portion of said Annexation described as follows :
A tract of land situate in the NZ of Section 25, Township 7 North, Range 69
West of the 6th P. M. , which considering the North line of said Section 25
as bearing N. 89145' E. and with all bearings contained herein relative
thereto is contained within the boundary lines which begin at the N4 corner
of said Section 25, and run thence S. 00016'05" E. 500.00 feet; thence along
the arc of a 596.09 foot radius curve to the left a distance of 198.16 feet,
the long chord of which curve bears S. 096-47130" E. 197.25 feet; thence S.
: 19018155" E. 274.89 feet; thence along the arc of a 596.09 foot radius curve
to the right a distance of 198.16 feet, the long chord of which curve bears
S. 09047130" E. 197. 25 feet; thence S. 00116105" E. 170.00 feet to a point on
the South. line of the NZ of the NE4 of said Section 25; thence S. 89046' W.
155.00 feet along said South line; thence S. 89'46104" W. 489.02 feet; thence
N. 00008125" W. 1318.65 feet to a point on the North line of said Section 25;
thence N. 89045' E. 486.10 feet along said North line to the point of beginning,
containing 16.5195 acres, more .or less;
in the R-M-P, Medium Density Planned Residential District.
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to amend said Zoning
District Map in accordance with this ordinance.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 9th' day
of July, A. D. 1970, and to.be presented for final passage on the 6th day of August, A. D.,
1970.
