BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-4.4 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO, 1958, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
INTOXICATING LIQUORS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
That Section 2-4.4 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado, 1958, as amended, be and the same hereby is amended by adding thereto
at the end thereof the following:
"In the event a license is granted for a new location by the liquor licensing
authority, and in the further event that such licensed establishment does not open
for business within one year after the date of the granting of said license, then
the action of the liquor licensing authority granting said license shall be null
and void and of no effect whatsoever, and the owner of said premises shall be
required to reapply for a license pursuant to the provisions of this ordinance and
any resolution of the City as if no license had previously been granted."
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this
6th day of August, A. D. 1970, and to be presented for final passage on the 27th
day of August, A. D. 1970.
