OF THE COUNCIL OF THE C=OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING §93-15(B) OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS REGARDING
THE CALCULATION OF STORM DRAINAGE BASIN FEES
WHEREAS, §93-15(B) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins entitled
"On Site Detention Factor Reduction" refers to a nomograph; and
WHEREAS, said nomograph was developed for calculation of the on site
detention reduction factor for parcels of land ranging from forty (40) to
sixty (60) acres; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Council of the City of Fort
Collins that an adjustment should be made for parcels of larger or smaller
areas than those for which the nomograph was originally developed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the nomograph as referred to and made a part of §93-15(B) of
the Code of the City of Fort Collins shall be amended as is shown on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 21st day of December, 1982, and to be presented for final
passage on the 41h day of a-nuary ,1983.

COEFFICIENT OF RUNOFF _
*This nomograph is applicable without adjustment for parcels of 40 to 60
acres, and can be adjusted for parcels of different areas using the fol-
lowing formula:
V = V (1 .2A-0.05)
where: V = volume of on-site detention adjusted for area,
in cubic feet per acre.
V = volume of on-site detention provided, in cubic feet
per acre.
A = tributary area, in acres.
The adjusted volume, V , should be entered into the nomograph to obtain the
appropriate reduction factor.
