BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A LONG-TERM LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE
SPERRY UNIVAC DIVISION OF THE SPERRY CORPORATION
FOR COMPUTER EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the City requires computer equipment for utilization in
conjunction with its Management Information Services functions, and
WHEREAS, the Sperry Univac Division of the Sperry Corporation has
p-oposed to the City a five-year lease and maintenance agreement which, in
the considered opinion of the Council of the City of Fort Collins, best
meets the needs and capabilities of the City of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, the terms of the equipment lease agreement will provide as
follows The City shall lease from the Sperry Univac Division of the
Sperry Corporation the following described equipment

The agreement shall be for an original term of five years, that term
commencing upon the signature of all concerned parties, subject to proper
appropriation during each year of the agreement A total monthly charge of
One Hundred and Eighty-One Dollars ($181 00) shall be assessed for the
lease of the above-described equipment, including appropriate maintenance
thereof In successive years it is understood maintenance fees are
subject to reasonable price increases This agreement shall not be a
pledge of the City' s revenues
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 That the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized and
directed to enter into a five-year lease and maintenance agreement with the
Sperry Univac Division of the Sperry Corporation for the above-described
equipment in accordance with the terms and provisions set forth above
Section 2 That the City Clerk be, and she hereby is, authorized to
attest the execution of said agreement on behalf of the City

fished this day of September 1980, and to be presented for final
