HomeMy WebLinkAbout161 - 12/04/1979 - ANNEXING THE WERNER ANNEXATION (ORDINANCE DEFEATED 12/4/1979) ORDINANCE NO 161, 1979 BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNE ING PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE WERNER ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO WHEREAS, h retofore, a written petition, togetner with four prints of an annexation ma was filed with the City Clerk of Fort Collins requesting the annexation o certain territory more particularly described below to the City, and WHEREAS, the Ci Council has found and determined and does hereby find and determine tha said petition is in substantial compliance with the provisions of Section 3 -12-107 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended, and WHERFAS, the owners of 100% of the property to be annexed have peti- tioned for said annexation, a d WHEREAS, not less than one ixth ( 1/6th) of the perimeter of ine area to be annexed is contiquors with the City of Fort Collins and a coi-nmunity of interest exists bet-reen the territory to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins, and the territory to be a nexed is urban or Nill be urbanized in the near future, and such territory integrated or is capable of being integrated with the City of Fort Collins, and WHEREAS, none of the provisions o\Section 31-12-105 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended, are violated by the annexation of this territory to the City, and WHEREAS, no election is required unde the provisions of Section 31-12-107(2) of the Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended, and no additional terms and conditions are to be lmpos d in connection with this annexation, and WHEREAS, the territory is eligible for anne ation, and the City Council desires to annex the sane to the City of Fort \HE NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL F FORT COLLINS Section 1 That all of the territory more partibed as situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, tA tract of land situate in the County of Larirre Colorado, to-ant A tract of land situate in the South 1/2 of Section 27, Townsnip 7 North, Pa9ge 69 42st of the Sixth 0rJrhahC'e �1Je-rea�ec!
