OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
REVISING STREET ENCROACHMENT AND OBSTRUCTION
APPLICATION FEES AS ESTABLISHED IN SECTIONS 95-16
AND 95-17 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, certain fees for street encroachment and obstruction were
established and adopted by the Council of the City of Fort Collins on
November 24, 1965, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined
that the aforesaid fees should be revised with said fees to be classified
in accordance with the nature of the encroachment or obstruction, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
the revision of the aforesaid application fees is in the best interest of
the citizens of the City
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Section 95-16 B of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be
amended to provide as follows
B The applicant shall agree in making the application
to be bound by all of the provisions of this Article
and the rules and regulations of the Department of
Public Works A fee shall be charged for each applica-
tion filed under this section as follows
1 Metered and time-limit parking For the first space
a base fee of $10 00 with a fee for each additional
space equalling the total of (1) the base fee, and
(2) $5 00 multiplied by the consecutive number of
such additional space ( not including the first
space) , per month
2 Unrestricted parking areas $5 00 per space, or
portion thereof, per month with a minimum charge of
$10 00
3 Single parking space $1 00 per space, or portion
thereof, per day with a minimum charge of $10 00
4 Minimum charge on all permits $10 00 per month
For purposes of this section, a space is defined as 12
feet of frontage for diagonal parking and 22 feet of
frontage for parallel parking

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that Section 95-17 of the Code of the City of
Fort Collins be amended to provide as follows
§95-17
No permit required under §95-15 through 95-21 inclusive
of this Article shall be issued for a period of more
than ninety (90) days, provided that the Director of
Public Works may renew any such permit for additional
ninety-day periods upon written application and payment
of the applicable fee provided in §95-16 B as a renewal
fee Any permit issued under this Article may be
revoked by the Director of Public Works if the holder
thereof violates any of the provisions of this Article
or the rules and regulations of the Department of Public
Works or if the work allowed by the permit unduly
interferes with pedestrian or vehicular traffic
Introduced considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
