OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS
FROM THE CONSERVATION TRUST FUND TO THE
SEVEN YEAR CAPITAL FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins authorizes City Council to transfer any unexpended, appropriated
amounts from one fund to another; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to immediately commence performing flood-
control work along the Poudre River at the North Shields Street bridge and
at Legacy Park; and
WHEREAS, funds in excess of $70,000 are available in the Conservation
Trust Fund for transfer to the Seven Year Capital Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council will repay this transfer back to the Conser-
vation Trust Fund from the General Fund at the end of 1984, or if that is
not possible, to budget the funds for replacement in 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
1. That the sum of SEVENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($70,000) is hereby
appropriated for transfer from the Conservation Trust Fund to the Seven
Year Capital Fund and appropriated for expenditure in the Seven Year
Capital Fund for flood-control work along the Poudre River at the North
Shields Street Bridge and at Legacy Park.
2. That the immediate adoption of this ordinance is necessary to
preserve, protect and advance the general welfare of the residents of the
City of Fort Collins; therefore, the Council hereby determines that an
emergency exists requiring the immediate passage of this ordinance; and
this ordinance is therefore, enacted pursuant to Section 6 of Article II of
the Charter of the City of Fort Collins as an emergency ordinance and shall
be effective upon its passage.

City of Fort Collins and finally passed as an emergency ordinance and
