HomeMy WebLinkAbout075 - 06/02/1981 - AMENDING SECTIONS 69-3 AND 69-9 OF THE CITY CODE TO INCLUDE A DEFINITION OF WORKING DAY AND TO REQUI ORDINANCE NO 75 , 1981 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CT7 OF FORT COLLINS BEING AJ ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 69-3 and 69-9 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS TO INCLUDE A DEFINIiIONI OF "WORKING DAY" AND TO REQUIRE CERTAIN NOTICES, REPORTS AND DETERMINATIONS TO BE GIVEN OR MADE WITHIN SPECIFIED "WORKING DAYS" WHEREAS , Chapter 69 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins ( The Landmark Preservation Ordinance) provides, in Section 69-9 thereof, a procedure to authorize erection, construction, reconstruction, alterations to, or demolition of, and relocation of landmark structures or structures located in landmark districts, and WHEREAS, said Section 69-9 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins requires certain notices, reports and determinations to be made within specified "days", and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council of the City of Fort Collins that such notices, reports and determinations be made or given within "working days" as specified in Section 69-9, and WHEREAS, it is further the desire of the Council of the City of Fort Collins to amend Section 69-3 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins to include a definition of " corking days" NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that ( 1) Section 69-3 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be amended to include the following definition Working Day - is any day except Saturday, Sunday and any Na- tional , State or local holiday (or day of observation) during wh ,ch the office of the Building Inspector is not open for regular business (2) All specific notification, report and determination requirements as found in Section 69-9(A) (C) and (D) be amended to provide that any such notice, report or determination be given or made within the specified "working days" Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub- lished tnrs 19th day of May, A D 1981 , and to be presented for final passage on the 2nd day of June, A D 1981 ril 1 l'.* 1 a or ATTEST l "City C er Passed and adopted on final reading h s nd iyof June, A D 1981 a or ATTEST '�\j Q,1t ¢` �hQ s City Clete L -7-
