HomeMy WebLinkAbout147 - 12/05/1989 - ZONING THE ORCHARD SECOND ANNEXATION ORDINANCE NO. 147 , 1989 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING CHAPTER 29 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AND CLASSIFYING FOR ZONING PURPOSES THE PROPERTY INCLUDED IN THE ORCHARD SECOND ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1. That the Zoning District Map adopted by Chapter 29 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended by including the property known as the Orchard Second Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, in the R-L-P Low Density Planned Residential District: A tract of land located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 6 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows: Considering the South line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 2 as bearing N 88°26'52" E and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section 2; thence along said South line of the Southwest Quarter N 88°26'52" E 1310.22 feet to the West line of the East one-half of said Southwest Quarter (said West line also being the East line of Voc Tech/Smith Annexation to the City of Fort Collins , Colorado) ; thence along said West line N 00'07'36" E 1894.28 feet to a point on the North line of Applewood Estates, Larimer County, Colorado; thence along said North line N 88°38'22" E 352.56 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing along said North line N 88038'22" E 348.33 feet to a point on the Westerly line of that certain parcel of land as described in deed recorded in Book 1631, Page 459, records of said County; thence along said Westerly line N 00°18'32" E 741 .39 feet to a point on the North line of the East one-half of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 2 (said point also being on the Southerly line of Voc Tech/Smith Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado) thence along said North line S 89028'53" W 348.22 feet to a point on the East line of Orchard Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado; thence along said East line S 00°18'32" W 746.51 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Said Tract contains 5.95 acres, more or less and is subject to all easements and rights-of-way of record. Section 2. That the Director of Engineering is hereby authorized and directed to amend said Zoning District Map in accordance with this Ordinance. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 21st day of November, A.D. 1989, and to be presented for final passage on the 5th day of December, A.D.
