HomeMy WebLinkAbout079 - 06/07/1988 - AMENDING CITY CODE REQUIRING BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS TO ANNUALLY PREPARE WORK PLANS ORDINANCE NO. 79, 1988 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS REQUIRING BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS TO ANNUALLY PREPARE WORK PLANS WHEREAS, at its May 10, 1988 worksession, the City Council discussed the need for boards and commissions to prepare work plans and annual reports; and WHEREAS, at said worksession, Council determined that boards and commissions should be required to prepare work plans in addition to annual reports. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1 . That Section 2-86 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-86. Minutes; annual report; work plan. It is required that minutes be kept for each authority meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk of each municipality prior to the next regular meeting of the authority. On or before January 31 of each year, the authority shall file a report with the City Clerk of Fort Collins setting forth the activities of the authority for the previous year. On or before November 30 of each year, the authority shall file a work plan with the City Clerk of Fort Collins for the following year. Section 2. That Section 2-105 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-105. Minutes; annual 'report; work plan. It is required that minutes be kept for each board meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the board. On or before January 31 of each year, the board shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the board for the previous year. On or before November 30 of each year, the board shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. Section 3. That Section 2-140 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-140. Minutes; annual report; work plan. It is required that minutes be kept for each board meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the board. On or before January 31 of each year, the board shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the board for the previous year. That Section 2-170 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-170. Minutes; annual report; work plan. On or before January 31 of each year, the commission shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the commission for the previous year. That Section 2-185 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-185. Minutes; annual report; work plan. That Section 2-205 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-205. Minutes; annual report; work plan. It is required that minutes be kept for each board meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the board. On or before January 31 of each year, the board shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the board for the previous year. On or before November 30 of each year, the board shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. Section 7. That Section 2-220 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-220. Minutes; annual report; work plan. On or before January 31 of each year, the authority shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the authority for the previous year. That Section 2-248 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-248. Minutes; annual report; work plan. On or before January 31 of each year, the commission shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the commission for the previous year. On or before November 30 of each year, the commission shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. Section 12. That Section 2-295 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-295. Minutes; annual report; work plan. It is required that minutes be kept for each board meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the board. On or before January 31 of each year, the board shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the board for the previous year. That Section 2-310 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-310. Minutes; annual report; work plan. On or before January 31 of each year, the board shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the board for the previous year. That Section 2-340 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-340. Minutes; annual report; work plan. It is required that minutes be kept for each board meeting and that such minutes be filed -with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the board. On or before January 31 of each year, the board shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the board for the previous year. On or before November 30 of each year, the board shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. Section 15. That Section 2-355 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-355. Minutes; annual report; work plan. It is required that minutes be kept for each board meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the board. On or before January 31 of each year, the board shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the board for the previous year. On or before November 30 of each year, the board shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. Section 16. That Section 2-400 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-400. Minutes; annual report; work plan. It is required that minutes be kept for each board meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the board. On or before January 31 of each year, the board shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the board for the previous year. On or before November 30 of each year, the board shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. Section 17. That Section 2-415 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-415. Minutes; annual report; work plan. It is required that minutes be kept for each board meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the board. On or before January 31 of each year, the board shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the board for the previous year. On or before November 30 of each year, the board shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. Section 18. That Section 2-430 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-430. Minutes; annual report; work plan. It is requited that minutet be kept for each board meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the board. On or before January 31 of each year, the board shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the board for the previous year. On or before November 30 of each year, the board shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. Section 19. That Section 2-445 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-445. Minutes; annual report; work plan. It is required that minutes be kept for each board meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the board. On or before January 31 of each year, the board shall file a report with the City Clerk setting forth the activities of the board for the previous year. On or before November 30 of each year, the board shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. Section 20. That Section 3-35(c) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 3-35. Meetings; minutes; annual report; work plan. (c) On or before January 31 of each year, the authority shall make a report to the City Council setting forth the number of applications for licenses acted upon, the number of licenses granted and the number denied and any other actions taken by the authority during the past year. On or before November 30 of each year, the authority shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. Section 21 . That Section 16-20 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 16-20. Minutes; annual report; work plan. It is required that minutes be kept for each authority meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the authority. On or before January 31 of each year, the authority shall make a report to the City Council setting forth the number of applications for licenses acted upon, the number of licenses granted, the number denied and any other actions taken by the authority during the past year. On or before November 30 of each year, the authority shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. Section 22. That Section 21-89 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 21-89. Minutes; annual report; work plan. (a) It is required that minutes be kept for each committee meeting and that such minutes be filed with the City Clerk prior to the next regular meeting of the committee. On or before January 31 of each year, the committee shall file a report with the City Clerk setting fort the activities of the committee for the previous year. On or before November 30 of each year, the committee shall file a work plan with the City Clerk for the following year. (b) The Financial Officer shall keep all records of the committee meetings.
