OF THE COUNCIL OF THE C_1rY_OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FUND,
UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND AND RECREATION FUND, AND
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF EXISTING APPROPRIATIONS
FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE RECREATION FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate reserves accumulated in prior
years at any time during the year; and 1
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received
at any time during the year and to transfer unexpended, appropriated
amounts from one fund to another; and
WHEREAS, the City has prior year reserves and unanticipated revenue
available to appropriate; and
WHEREAS, administration of the SAINT (Senior Alternatives in
Transportation) program has been transferred from the Transportation
Services Fund to the General Fund ; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to consolidate all revenue and expenses
associated with the program within the General Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
prior year reserves in the Transportation Service Fund the sum of Nine
Hundred Thirty-Eight Dollars ($938) for transfer to the General Fund for
the SAINT program.
Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
unanticipated revenue in the General Fund the sum of Thirteen Thousand
Three Hundred Eighty-Eight Dollars ($13,388) for the SAINT program.
Section 3: That there is hereby authorized for transfer from existing
appropriations in the General Fund to the Recreation Fund the sum of Five
Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Dollars ($5, 770) for a recreation leader.
Section 4: That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
unanticipated revenue in the Recreation Fund the sum of Five Thousand Seven
Hundred Seventy Dollars ($5,770) for a recreation leader.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 1st day of October, A.D. 1985, and to be presented for final
passage on the 15th day of October, A.D. 1985.
