OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
VACATING PORTIONS OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR
ROMA VALLEY DRIVE, DEDICATED ON THE
MIRAMONT VALLEY P.U.D.
WHEREAS,the plat of Miramont Valley P.U.D. dedicated to the public a cul-de-sac bulb
at the termination of the platted Roma Valley Drive; and
WHEREAS, the replat entitled "A Replat of a Portion of Roma Valley Drive, Lots 47-53,
and a Portion of Tract E, Miramont Valley P.U.D." was approved on December 22, 1999; and
WHEREAS,the approval of said replat creates the connection of Roma Valley Drive to Mail
Creek Lane,necessitating the vacation of a portion of the cul-de-sac right-of-way more particularly
described on Exhibit"A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and
WHEREAS, said portion of the cul-de-sac right-of-way is no longer necessary or desirable
to retain because Roma Valley Drive will connect to Mail Creek Lane with said replat, and the
connection of Roma Valley Drive to Mail Creek Lane was approved as an amendment to the City
of Fort Collins Master Street Plan by City Council on May 18, 1999; and
WHEREAS,pertinent City agencies and private utility companies have been contacted and
reported no objection to the proposed vacation of said portion of the cul-de-sac; and
WHEREAS, the right of the residents of the City of Fort Collins will not be prejudiced or
injured by the vacation of said right-of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS that the portion of cul-de-sac right-of-way more particularly described on Exhibit
"A" is hereby vacated, abated and abolished.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 4th day of
April, A.D. 2000, and to be presented for final passage on the 18th day of April, A.D. 2000

DESCRIPTION(VACATION)
A vacation of a portion of Roma Valley Drive as platted in MIRAMONT VALLEY
P.U.D., on file at the Office of the Clerk and Recorder located in the Southeast Quarter of
Section 1, Township 6 North, Range 69 West of the 61h Principal Meridian, City of Fort
Collins, State of Colorado, being more particularly described as follows:
Considering the West line of said MIRAMONT VALLEY P.U.D. as bearing South
00°26'23" West and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto:
Commencing at the Northwest comer of said MIRAMONT VALLEY P.U.D.; thence,
South 46004'09" East, 189.40 feet to a point on the existing right-of-way line of Roma
Valley Drive, said point also being the POINT OF BEGINNING and also being a point
on a non-tangent curve concave to the South having a central angle of 155°36'42", a
radius of 50.00 feet and the chord of which bears South 62°32'20" East, 97.74 feet;
thence along the arc of said curve and said right-of-way 135.80 feet to a point on a
reverse curve concave to the East having a central angle of 60°21'46", a radius of 41.00
feet and the chord of which bears South 14°54'52" East, 41.22 feet; thence along the arc
of said curve 43.19 feet to a point on a non-tangent line; thence departing said right-of-
way and along said non-tangent line,North 45005'45" West, 61.77 feet to a point on a
curve concave to the Southwest having a central angle of 14°33'34", a radius of 267.00
feet and the chord of which bears North 52°22'32" West, 67.66 feet; thence along the arc
of said curve 67.85 feet to the Point of Beginning.
The above described portion of Roma Valley Drive to be vacated contains 0.088 acres
more or less and is subject to all easements and rights-of-way now on record or existing.
