OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE
STORM DRAINAGE FUND OLD TOWN BASIN PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins Utilities, using funds appropriated for the Old Town
Basin Project, has designed and built the Locust Street Outfall to provide storm drainage for both
City stormwater customers and Colorado State University; and
WHEREAS,Colorado State University has reimbursed the City for its share of the expenses
related to the design and construction of the outfall in an amount of$211,000; and
WHEREAS,Article V, Section 9,of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the City
Council to make supplemental appropriations by ordinance at any time during the fiscal year,
provided that the total amount of such supplemental appropriations,in combination with all previous
appropriations for that fiscal year do not exceed the then current estimate of actual and anticipated
revenues to be received during the fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to appropriate $211,000 from Colorado State
University in the Storm Drainage Fund Old Town Basin Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in the Storm Drainage Fund the sum of
TWO HUNDRED ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($211,000)for the Old Town Basin Project.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 17th day of
April, A.D. 2001, and to be presented for final passage on the 1st day of,,Iv'Iay, A.D. 2001.
