OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
VACATING PORTIONS OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR
REDGATE COURT AS DEDICATED ON
THE GATES AT WOODRIDGE PUD, FOURTH FILING
WHEREAS,the plat for The Gates at Woodridge PUD,Fourth Filing dedicated to the public
the right-of-way for Redgate Court; and
WHEREAS, a minor amendment is being considering for The Gates at Woodridge PUD,
Fourth Filing, which replats a portion The Gates at Woodridge PUD,Fourth Filing eliminating lots
13 though 17, reconfiguring several other lots and replating said right-of-way; and
WHEREAS,the approval of the minor amendment for The Gates at Woodridge PUD,Fourth
Filing requires the vacation of the right-of-way dedicated for Redgate Court more particularly
described on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and
WHEREAS, said portions of the Redgate Court right-of-way are no longer necessary or
desirable to retain for street purposes as the lots to be served by this cul-de-sac are not built upon and
are to be replated into a tract upon which a detention pond will extend for this development; and
WHEREAS,pertinent City agencies and private utility companies have been contacted and
reported no objection to the proposed vacation, provided that an easement for utility, drainage and
access be reserved unto the City; and
WHEREAS, the right of the residents of the City of Fort Collins will not be prejudiced or
injured by the vacation of said street right-of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the portions of street right-of-way for Redgate Court,more particularly described on
Exhibit "A", is hereby vacated, abated and abolished, reserving the same unto the City as an
easement for utility, drainage and access purposes.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 3rd day of
November, A.D. 1998, and to be presented for final passage on the 17th day of November, A.D.
1998.

DESCRIPTION:
A Vacation of Redgate Court being a portion of The Gates at Woodridge P.U.D., Fourth Filing and
being located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 34, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th
Principal Meridian, City of Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado, being more
particularly described as follows:
Considering the East line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 34 as bearing South 00°03'18"
East (per said plat of The Gates at Woodridge P.U.D., Fourth Filing) with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto:
BEGINNING at the Northwest Point of Reverse Curve of Lot 18 of said The Gates at Woodridge
P.U.D., Fourth Filing, said point being on the South right-of-way line of Rolling Gate Road and the
East right-of-way line of said Redgate Court; thence along the Easterly, Southerly and Westerly
right-of-way lines of said Redgate Court by the following six (6) courses and distances, along a
curve concave to the East, having a central angle of 84'11'41", a radius of 15.00 feet and the chord
of which bears South 10°41'29" West, 20.11 feet; thence along the arc of said curve 22.04 feet;
thence, South 31°24'21" East, 61.19 feet to a point on a curve concave to the Northeast, having a
central angle of 60°21'46",a radius of 41.00 feet and the chord of which bears South 61°35'14" East,
41.22 feet; thence along the arc of said curve 43.19 feet to a point on a reverse curve concave to the
Northwest,having a central angle of 240°21'46", a radius of 50 .00 feet and the chord of which bears
South 28°24'46" West, 86.44 feet; thence along the arc of said curve 209.76 feet; thence, North
31"24'21" West, 144.35 feet to a point on a curve concave to the South, having a central angle of
78°39'17", a radius of 15 .00 feet and the chord of which bears North 70°43'59" West, 19.01 feet;
thence along the arc of said curve 20.59 feet to a point on said South right-of-way line of Rolling
Gate Road said point being on a non-tangent curve concave to the Northwest,having a central angle
of 17°09'03", a radius of 267.00 feet and the chord of which bears North 61°21'51" East, 79.62 feet;
thence along the arc of said curve 79.92 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
