OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT
IN FAVOR OF BURNS RANCHES, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is the owner of that certain parcel of
real property located in Larimer County, Colorado, known as- tir'r Quail Hollow 1th
Filing ("the Property") ; and
WHEREAS, Burns Ranches, Inc. wishes to acquire a non-exclusive emergency
access easement across and through the Property for emergency access for the
Burns Ranch at Quail Ridge development; and
WHEREAS, Section 23-111 of the City Code provides that the City Council is
authorized to sell , convey or otherwise dispose of real property owned by the
City, provided the Council first finds- by ordinance that any sale or other
disposition of real property owned by the City is in the best interest of the
City of Fort Collins.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1. That the conveyance of a non-exclusive emergency access
easement across and through the Property for the purpose of providing emergency
access to Burns Ranches, Inc. is in the best interests of the City of Fort
Collins.
Section 2. That the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to execute the
Grant of Easement, attached hereto as Exhibit "A, " and incorporated herein by
this reference, conveying a non-exclusive emergency access easement to Burns
Ranches, Inc.

DESCRIPTION FOR EMERGENCY ACCESS ROAD EASEMENT
An easement located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 29 and in
the Northwest Quarter of Section 28, Township 7 North, Range 69
West of the 6th Principal Meridian, City of Fort Collins, Larimer
County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows :
That portion of an easement 50 feet in width with foreshortened and
prolonged sidelines to meet the property lines and shall be 25 feet
each side measured at right angles and parallel with the centerline
described as follows:
Considering the East line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section
29 as bearing North 00°45100" East from a Brass Cap at the East
Quarter corner of said Section 29 to a Aluminum Cap at the
Northeast corner of said Section 29 and with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto:
Commencing at the East Quarter corner of said Section 29 ; thence

20.76 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of said centerline, said point
being on a curve concave to the Northwest having a central angle of
