ORDINANCE NO. 10, 1995
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE TRANSPORTATION
DIVISION PORTION OF THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins (the "Charter")
authorizes the City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenues which are the result of new
revenue sources at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS,the City Council passed Resolution 95-11,on February 7, 1995,authorizing the
City to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the Colorado State Department of
Transportation(CDOT)for the receipt of CDOT funds, not to exceed $50,000, on a reimbursement
basis for the construction of a traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. Highway 287 and Fossil Creek
Parkway (the "project"); and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that upon the City's receipt of the sum of FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($50,000)
from the Colorado Department of Transportation, said sum is hereby appropriated for expenditure
from unanticipated revenue in the Transportation Division portion of the Transportation Services
Fund to be used to construct a traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. Highway 287 and Fossil Creek
Parkway.
