OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY
FROM THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS TO LARIMER COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins ("the City") is the owner of a tract of
land legally described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference, which tract of land shall be hereinafter referred to as "the
Property"; and
WHEREAS, Larimer County is in the process of reconstructing portions of
Centennial Drive Road which lies adjacent to open space land owned by the City;
and
WHEREAS, as part of such reconstruction, Larimer County has requested the
City convey to Larimer County the Property in order to widen portions of
Centennial Drive Road; and
WHEREAS, Section 23-111 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins authorizes
the City Council to sell , convey or otherwise dispose of any and all interests
in real property owned in the name of the City, provided that the Council first
finds that such sale or other disposition is in the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
1 . That the conveyance of the Property by the City to Larimer County is
in the best interests of the City.
2. That the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to execute such
instruments as are necessary for the City to convey the Property to Larimer
County.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 3rd day of September, A.D. 1991, and to be presented for final passage on
the 17th day of September, A.D. 1991.

CITY OP PORT COLLINS TO LARIMER COUNTY
Legal Description of Permanent Road Right-of-Way
That portion of that certain parcel of land described in deed recorded
in Book 1924, Page 486 on file in the office of the Clerk and Recorder
of Larimer County. Said parcel being located in the northwest quarter
of Section 20, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the sixth principal
meridian, Larimer County, Colorado, described as follows:
Considering the line between angle point 21 (found standard B.L.M.
brass cap) and angle point 20 (found standard B.L.M. brass cap) as
bearing North 00047108" East and with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto. All references to angle points are to those
corners established by the United States Department of the Interior
Bureau of Land Management (B.L.M. ) "Dependent resurvey and survey of
Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the sixth principal meridian,
accepted April 16, 1954" as shown on the official plat thereof.
Beginning at angle point 20, Thence along the line between angle point
20 and angle point 19 South 86036108"West, 51. 01 feet to the
southeast corner of that certain parcel of land described in Book
1182 , Page 409 records of said county. Said point being the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING. Thence along the east line of said parcel North
26030159" West, 642 . 49 feet to the north most corner of said
parcel . Said point being on the line between angle point 19 and angle
point 18 . Thence along said line North 00003114" West, 108 .29
feet: Thence departing from said line South 22046157" East,
741. 01 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
