OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS,
BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR
CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE
CENTRE FOR ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY, TRACT J REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1 . That the Zoning District Map adopted by Chapter 29 of the
Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, amended by
changing the zoning classification from "T, " Transitional , Zoning District,
to "R-P, " Planned Residential , Zoning District, for the following described
property in the City known as the Centre for Advanced Technology, Tract J
Rezoning:
Description of a portion of the Centre for Advanced Technology
located East of Shields Street and North of the Larimer No. 2
Canal .
Being a tract of land located in the Southwest Quarter of Section
23, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M. , City of Fort
Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado, being more
particularly described as follows:
Considering the West line of the Southwest Quarter of said
Section 23 as bearing N 0°15'22" E and with all bearings
contained herein relative thereto.
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Southwest Quarter of
Section 23; thence along the North line of the said Southwest
Quarter S 89°19'35" E 50.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, said
Point of Beginning being on the East right-of-way of South
Shields Street; thence continuing along the said North line of
the Southwest Quarter of said Section 23 S 89°19'35" E 2607. 16
feet to the Center Quarter Corner of the said Section 23; thence
along the east line of the said Quarter of Section 23 ,
S 00°18'34" W 175.68 feet to a point on the North right-of-way of
Centre Avenue, thence along said right-of-way on a curve concave
to the Southeast, having a central angle of 15°36'42", a radius
of 644.00 feet and the chord of which bears S 46°15'44" W 174.93
feet to a point on the North bank of the Larimer No. 2 Canal ,
thence along said North bank the following twenty-four courses:

radius of 3950.00 feet and the chord of which bears N O1'00'13" W
173 . 67 feet ; thence N 00 ° 15 ' 22 " E 362 . 23 feet ; thence
N 00°10'29" E 398.90 feet to the Point of Beginning.
The above described tract of land contains 31 .290 acres more or
less and is subject to all easements now on record existing or
indicated.
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to
amend said Zoning District Map in accordance with this Ordinance.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 5th day of January, A.D. 1988, and to be presented for final
passage on the 19th day of January, A.D. 1988.
