MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE LAND CONSERVATION AND STEWARDSHIP
BOARD
A.Tlw Land Conservation and Stewardship board has an existing vacancy.·•1',
B., The City Council desires to make an appointment to fill this vacancy on the .
Land Conservation and Stewardship Board.
C.In 2023, the City Council adopted a Code of Conduct and updated Boards
and Commissions Policy, along with other policies and procedures that apply to service
on City boards and commissions. Each. board and commission appointee is required to
acknowledge and accept these requirements in order to take appointed office.
In light of the foregoing recitals, which the Council hereby makes and adopts as
determinations and findings, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. The term of the following named person is hereby appointed to the
Land Conservation and Stewardship Board with a term set to expire as noted next to
the appointee's name:
Land: Conservation and Stewardship Boc1rd
Appointments Term Begin Date Term Expiration Date
Steve Joyce (Seat H) Immediately upon adoption of March 31, 2028 this Resolution
Section 2. No person appointed in this Resolution may take office until they
have completed the required acknowledgement and acceptance of the Code of
Conduct and the applicable laws and policies that govern service on City of Fort Collins
boards and commissions.
