•. OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
A.The Historic Preservation Co'mmission has existing vacancies due to the
expiration of members' terms and the resignation of Christopher Conway. I •.
B.The City Council desires to make appointments to fill these vacancies on
the Historic Preservation Commission.
C.In 2023, the City Council adopted a Code of Conduct and updated Boards
and Commissions Policy, along with other 'policies and procedures that apply to service
on City boards and commissions. Each board and commission appointee is required to
acknowledge a·nd accept these requirements in order to take appointed office.
In light of the foregoing recitals, which the Council hereby makes and adopts as
determination� and findings, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUN CIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. The terms of the following named persons are hereby appointed to
the Historic Preservation Commission with terms set to expire as noted next to each
appointee's name:
Historic Preservation Commission
Appointments Term Effective Date Expiration of Term
Jerry Gavaldon (Seat E) Immediately Upon Adoption of this March 31, 2028
Resolution
Gretchen Farrell (Seat G) Immediately Upon Adoption of this March 31, 2030
Resolution
Section 2. No person appointed in this Resolution may take office until they
have completed the required acknowledgement and acceptance of the Code of
Conduct and the applicable laws and policies that govern service on City of Fort Collins
boards and commissions.
