Dear Property Owner,
The Larimer County assessor's office lists you as the owner of the above referenced address.
This letter is to inform you that your property at 255 Johnson Drive in Fort Collins CO is not secured and
has been used as an encampment site. This issue puts you in direct violation of the 2021 International
Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) as adopted by the City of Fort Collins.
2021 IPMC Sections:
301.3. Vacant structures and land. Vacant structures and premises thereof or vacant land shall be
maintained in a clean, safe, secure and sanitary condition as provided herein so as not to cause a blighting
problem or adversely affect the public health or safety.
This notice which allows you 30 days from the date of this letter to have the referenced property boarded
up and secured. Please notify me within 30 days of the date of this letter to verify that the above item has
been corrected.
Failure to comply with this notice to secure is grounds for the City of Fort Collins to issue you a citation to
appear in court and fines up to 3,000.00 dollars per day from the date of the violation.
