On May 14, 2024 i visited the referenced site as requested in order to provide
an opinion regarding the structurai adequacy flf the stairs to the upper levei.
DfSCUSSION
The wood iramed stairs are approximately 13' lon9 and rise about 8'-4".
Notched 2x12 stingers were used on each edge of the stair. As recommended
additional suppart for the string�rs has been provided in the form of support
studs to the slab and additiona! clips to the CMU wall.
Based on my review it is my opinion the stairs as constn.icted are structurally
adequa#E for 100 psf uniform live load and 300# point load as prescribed in the
2021 IBC.
