(EEC) personnel have completed the construction observation services you requested for the referenced project. Those services included an observation of the foundation footing dimensions placed for the referenced address. The results of the site observations completed by EEC personnel are included with this report. On February 1st , 2018, EEC personnel observed footing foundation widths for the foundation footings for the above referenced multi-family residence. The garage, porch and crawlspace footings were approximately 18, 24 and 30 inches wide by 10 inches thick at various locations. One #4 bar was placed horizontally and continuously at the 18 inch wide footings. Two horizontal #4 bars were placed horizontally and continuously at the 24 inch wide footings. Two horizontal #4 bars along with one #4 bar placed transversely at approximately 12 inches on center were placed in the 30 inch wide continuous spread footings. The garage and crawlspace footing pads were approximately 36 inches by 36 inches, 42 inches by 42 inches, 48 inches by 48 inches and 54 inches by 54 inches wide at various locations. The interior crawlspace foundation pads were approximately 30 inches by 30 inches, 36 inches by 36 inches, 48 inches by 48 inches and 54 inches by 54 inches by 10 and 12 inches thick at various locations. #4 bars were placed horizontally each way in the crawlspace and footing pads at approximately 8 inches on-center each way. At the time of our observations, it appeared that the foundation footing dimensions and observed reinforcing steel had been placed in general accordance with the construction plans prepared by RMG Engineers, Job No. 157013, dated July 28, 2017.
