Ref: Residential duplex at 608 and 608 1/2S. Grant Street
Mr. Valloric,
Regarding the residential duplex at address 608 and 608 1/2 S. Grant St, there is no
Certificate of Occupancy showing this building being converted to a duplex however a
approved 1980 zoning variance and building permit documents do indicate changes
were approved with intent to create a duplex. In addition I have verified both dwellings
have the required facilities that each separate dwelling would need to have such as
separate: exits, elec meters, heating, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom egress windows.
The city does not issue new C.O.s to dwellings that we did not inspect so as an
alternate this letter should serve as documentation of this recognized existing duplex.
